BMW M6: The ultimate thrill !! The drop-top M6 has the same 5.0-litre V10 as the coupe, developing 507bhp and 384lb-ft of torque. The M6 convertible is built using a 6-Series Convertible shell, rather than modifying the M6's stiffened shell to suit the roof mechanisms. Despite the extra weight of the convertible roof, its mechanisms and the necessary reinforcements to the car's structure, it'll still be good for 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds; top speed is limited to 155mph. BMW claims that this car can lap the Nordschliefe circuit of the Nurburgring almost as fast as its coupe counterpart. Unique to the M6 is the aerodynamic rear air dam, which extends its overall length by over 5cm compared to the standard 6-Series Convertible, the quad-tailpipe exhaust, special M-branded instruments, a head-up display and the Power Button: from start-up, the M6 runs to a power output of up to 400bhp, but by pressing the magic button, all 500bhp-plus comes into play.
