Platinium Terms & Conditions
All chauffeur driven hire bookings are subject of the following terms and conditions of hire:
- Credit cards payments are subject to a 4.5% surcharge for payment made with American Express.
- It is the responsibility of the client to verify that dates, times and addresses are correct on the confirmation booking form.
- Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been paid.
- The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and legal speed limits.
- No smoking, eating or drinking is permitted in the vehicle.
- The company and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passengers thought, at its sole discretion, to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the chauffeur, the vehicle, any other passengers or third parties.
- If a booking is cancelled by the customer more than 6 days from the service period of hire 15% of all monies will be non-refundable.
- If a booking is cancelled by the customer less than 6 days from the service period of hire 35% of all monies will be non-refundable.
- If a booking is cancelled by the customer within 48 hours from the start of the period of hire 100% of all monies will be non-refundable.
- If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point all monies paid will be non-refundable.
- Whilst Platinium is fully insured for passengers and third party claims, customer’s property is carried entirely at their own risk and the company shall not be held responsible / liable for any loss / damage to such property. The company will keep a lost property book at their office, and will endeavour to return to the customer, any lost property left in our vehicles.
- Platinium chauffeur’s will travel by the most appropriate route on the day, unless instructed by the customer at the time of booking.
- Whilst Platinium does its utmost to ensure our drivers are punctual, it must be understood that it cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances out-with its control.
- No physical, verbal or mental abuse to the chauffeur will be tolerated.
- If there are any changes or variations including extra time to the journeys other than what were agreed at the time of the booking, the client will be charged for these extras in accordance with the company’s current pricing structure.
- The company reserves the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
- Clients are responsible for any internal or external damage caused to the vehicle by the hirer, the hirer’s guests or any other party. The client will be liable and invoiced accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate the vehicle to full working order.
- In the event of the non availability, for any reason, of the vehicle agreed to be provide to the client, Platinium reserves the right to substitute a comparable vehicle provided that the company shall give notice of such event as soon as possible, whereupon the client will have the option to withdraw from this agreement and will have the right to a refund of any sums paid to the settlement of any claims against the company.
- Bookings are accepted only on condition that the hirer understands and accepts the above terms and conditions which come into effect upon payment of the deposit.
