Platinium chauffeur services: Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat tour

About Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat:

Between Beaulieu and Villefranche, it is the western part of this sublime peninsula that has given Cap-Ferrat its « multimillionaire » reputation. After his years at the hotel Brothel in villefranche, Jean Cocteau came to live here, from 1950 onwards, at the Villa Santo-Sophir, the home of Francine Weisweiller. Incapable of staying there without anything to do, he decided to paint the walls and then the floors and ceilings with such cherished themes of his as Greek mythology, the Mediterranean , and the pine trees of Nice. In 1926, Somerset Maugham also decided to settle in Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat, buying the Villa La Mauresque , which had been built in 1806 for King Leopold II of Belgium , where he used to entertain his neighbour, Jean Cocteau.

Lauren Bacall, Romy Scneider, and Gregory Peck also lived in Saint Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The Marnier Lapostole family's villa has one of the French Riviera's most beautiful exotic gardens, where a large collection of plant essences, used in the making of Grand Marnier, is to be found.

Today, there are many interesting attractions to see in Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat such as its museum, gardens, churches, Le Grand Hotel Du Cap, its picturesque fishing port and seafood restaurant, and its hidden spots only accessible by foot

Between Beaulieu and Villefranche, the beautiful vegetation and high cliffs of the prestigious Cap Ferrat peninsula hide luxurious villas including the magnificent Villa Ephrussi. Some of the best views of the coast can be seen from the Sentier Littoral and St-Hospice Point.
